While she enjoys traveling to a new destination each time she heads abroad, her passion has always leaned towards Europe. She has traveled to Europe more than a dozen times and tries to add new locations to her “just visited” list each time.
As a way to immerse herself even further in travel around the world, Sally spent 10 years as an advisor and leader of her local Rotary District Youth Exchange program for high school students, encouraging one year travel/study abroad experiences for 15-18 year olds. Her program dealt with students from 28 countries around the world and she still keeps in touch with most of the 60 or so students the program supports annually.
A mother of three boys, Sally encouraged her children to explore and travel as well, so she has a wide variety of experiences to draw on when planning vacations, from camping with infants to cruising with teenagers and mother/son train travel across Europe. Now that they have all “left the nest” Sally and her husband are enjoying some time to travel to their favorite destinations. Additionally, Sally runs a travel club for women called vagabondGALS… an opportunity for solo women travelers to join together and explore the world.
Sally has been a Syracuse Travel Agent for more than 20 Years and has extensive knowledge in trip planning, execution, and travel experience.
|Sally..Just got back from a fabulous family vacation in Costa Rica..ziplineing, horseback riding on the beach, snorkeling, catamaran rides, kayaking, paddle boarding, beach volleyball, swimming, and enjoying the beach, The resort was everything you mentioned and more. Would highly recommend it. There was easy beach access from the resort. The weather was sunny and 90 every day. Sunsets were one of my favorite parts of the trip. Thanks for everything to make our trip such a success.. It was a memorable trip our kids, my husband and I will never forget. Spending time with my family...making memories..ziplineing/horseback riding/catamaran ride was a blast. All of your communication was well managed. Maryellen Sheridan|
